IRISBOND boosts its growth with €4.5M funding

Eye-tracking technology continues to advance, and at IRISBOND, we are taking a big step forward. We have secured €4.5 million in funding, which will allow us to continue innovating and expanding our assistive communication solutions both nationally and internationally.

Strengthening our leadership in Spanish-speaking markets

Currently, IRISBOND is the leading eye-tracking technology company in the Spanish-speaking world. With this new investment, we will reinforce our position in these markets and strengthen our participation in national tenders.

Our commitment is to continue offering the best technology to improve the lives of people with motor limitations, ensuring that more users can access advanced communication solutions.

International expansion: Germany, France, and the U.S.

One of the main objectives of this funding is to bring our technology to key new markets. Germany, France, and the United States represent significant opportunities for our growth and consolidation in the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Our business model and products have been validated in a mature market that continues to evolve with new opportunities. The growing demand for inclusive solutions makes our technology more relevant than ever.

Innovation and technological development

Thanks to this investment, we will continue to focus on innovation. Our device Hiru, the third generation of our eye-tracking system and the world’s first cross-platform device compatible with both Windows and iOS, is a clear example of our development capabilities.

Our history of innovation led us to obtain Apple’s MFi certification in 2022, a recognition held by only three companies worldwide. This milestone reflects our commitment to technological excellence and accessibility.

Accelerated growth and global presence

Over the past four years, IRISBOND has experienced continuous growth, becoming one of the key players in the AAC sector. Today, our technology is present in more than 20 countries across Europe, the U.S., and Latin America, thanks to a network of over 30 distributors and partnerships with companies like Samsung, Microsoft, Apple, and MIT.

In Spain, our growth has been driven by the inclusion of eye-tracking technology in the catalog of products prescribed by the Social Security system, allowing us to win most regional tenders.

A future with greater accessibility and inclusive technology

At IRISBOND, we remain committed to our mission of ensuring the right to communication for all individuals. According to the National Institute of Statistics (INE), 21 out of every 1,000 people in Spain have some form of communication disability, equating to approximately 92,000 people who could benefit from advanced communication systems.

This new funding will allow us to continue advancing our mission and bring our technology to even more people worldwide. We continue to work towards creating a more accessible and inclusive future for everyone.
